Welder new series in store now: K33

At Baselworld 2011 Italo Fontana introduced the brand new K33 family to the Welder collection. The K33 features a new coloured PVD technology in red, blue and purple. The Welder trademark left hand chrono sits embedded in these jewel tones; a stark contrast to the black 316L PVD steel case. The hands are also treated to match the pigmented projection and create a colour injection onto the otherwise subdued monochrome dial.

Though the dial is modest at first glance, the numerals are wittily placed on and a half hours off their usual position. This gives a new dynamic to the dial and opens up the face in an innovative and unexpected manner. The K32’s black silicon strap and PVD case reiterate the strength of the watch, waterproof to 100m (10ATM), culminating in a watch built with sharp design and uncompromising practicality.
